It had a fresh feel to it.
The bathroom shower gel container was not refilled and was empty. It was too hot in the room even with the windows open all night long. We were waiting for a fairly long time for the check in. It would have been good if Booked.net included the information about parking having to be reserved in advance in the confirmation email.

The hotel is comfortable, but the room was pretty basic for a design hotel. No minibar, no cupboard to hang your clothes, nor ironing board and iron, no coffee and tea in the room. Expensive compared to other hotels that I have stayed in across northern Europe.
Lack of facilities in our room (minibar, cupboard, etc)

I really liked the hotel interior. The breakfast buffet is nicely varied and the staff is really friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay at Eden Design Hotel.

I previously stayed in maastricht and this hotel really exceeded my expectations. The staff were wonderfully helpful, and i loved the complimentary coffee and fresh pastries at breakfast. It was a perfect base to explore the nearby attractions.
air conditioning didn't work properly

Pleasant hotel, friendly staff, nice rooms, great location. A good place to spend a few days.
Too bad the hotel does not offer lower rates for solo travelers. Hotel is not suitable for a business traveller since the room I was in did not have a desk. In addition it is rather inconvenient to watch television from the couch since it is not possible to turn the television.

The place has a unique design and the beds are super comfy. I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathroom. It could be better. Loved that you can rent bicycles nearby to explore the area. Area feels great for walking around too.

Location is nice. Make sure you go out for breakfast across the street well before 11.00 on sunday. They've got nice breakfast/brunches for half the price you would pay at the hotel.
The suite isn't a suite at all. I am an Hotel Industry professional and have been disappointed by this hotel. It is not worth the extra buck to book a suite. Especially when you look at the way the bathroom is in the centre of the room, making the whole room a hoth steamy space where you have to sleep as well. Not well thought through!

The staff - especially the dining staff were excellent. Very friendly and accommodating - they went out of their way to see to our needs.
The room in which we stayed - 95 - was located in position that did not get much in the way of natural light.

The staff is very helpfull. When a made a complaint the staff took it serious and came with a suitable solution. The hotel is just a short walk from the city centre. The Hastens bed is excellent !
The room is okay but i think for the amount of money you pay the room should be better. Small things are worn down. Only one reading light at the bed. The room was very warm, no airconditioning. You can not open the window because of the noise of the AC-machine on the small patio. The toilet has a glass window, ok if you're together for a long time. For new couples; not so romantic ;) Too minimalistic, but that could be a matter of taste.

We explored St Pietersberg and enjoyed the guided cave tour. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were super friendly. The location was perfect for walking around and discovering the city. Just a heads up, the bathrooms in some rooms are open-plan, so ensure you're comfortable with that!
The clear glass wall in the bathroom was awkward for privacy. It felt strange, especially when sharing a room with friends.

The hotel is conveniently located (the parking structure though is a city block walk). It is creatively designed with the room pleasant to the senses and relaxing. Most people appreciate a good bed and this hotel has it. The staff were kind, professional, and attentive.

Try the in-house café for a breakfast that's more varied than the buffet-it offers delicious local pastries not to be missed.
